MARRIAGE, FAMILIES & SPIRITUALITY
Marriage, Families & Spirituality (MFS)
In 1995, the INTAMS review: Journal for the Study of Marriage & Spirituality was created. In 2017, after 22 years of documenting and developing the spirituality of marriage and family, the INTAMS review changed its name to Marriage, Families & Spirituality, a title that reflects better its contents and its aim.
Marriage, Families & Spirituality is a semi-annual, internationally refereed journal dedicated to promoting theological and cross-disciplinary reflection on marriage, families, spirituality, and related topics. In its more than 25 years of existence, the journal has grown into a leading international publication with a specialized focus on the topics of marriage and the family, and it offers an excellent forum for those who are looking for a specialized scholarly journal on the themes of marriage and the family.
Appealing to a wide academic and professional community interested in marriage and family-related issues, research, and debate, Marriage, Families & Spirituality documents the extent and the variety of theological and other relevant thinking in this field.
Among particular concerns of MFS are:
- to document new trends in theology, human sciences, and cultural studies concerning marriage and families;
- to offer innovative perspectives in the various (ethical, dogmatic, pastoral, canonical, liturgical, exegetical, historical etc.) approaches to marriage and families;
- to contribute to defining and exploring the domain of marital and family spirituality.
