From 2005 to 2024, Thomas Knieps-Port le Roi held the Chair for the Study of Marriage & Spirituality at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Catholic University Leuven).
The aim of the Chair was to carry out academic research and teaching on marriage, families, and related issues, in close collaboration with INTAMS, as an independent research institute.
In practical terms, this academic research was developed and expressed in various forms:
